DOMOTEX TRADE FAIR PUSHED BACK TO MAY 2021
Domotex – the world’s largest flooring trade fair – has pushed back its January 2021 dates for the Hannover show to May 20–22. A digital conference will now be held in January.
Organisers had been holding out for the original dates and made many special arrangements but said the “rampant Covid-19 pandemic” and its impact on worldwide travel has forced a re-think.
Deutsche Messe AG said: “There is a general uncertainty in relation to travelling abroad. Many countries have introduced strict travel and quarantine regulations and it is impossible to predict for how long these regulations will be in place. It has therefore become difficult to deliver on the show’s core value proposition, which is linked, among other things, to the high number of international exhibitors and visitors.”
