The Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) offered a Black Friday 20% sale offering discounts on Q1 2021 courses booked by 4th December. The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) UK offered a free Brexit webinar on 16th December relating to the end of the transition period. “On 1st January 2021 the UK will have left the transition period and new rules relating to trade, immigration, data transfers, and more will apply.

The Contract Flooring Association (CFA) blog continues to be a useful source of flooring industry news. “Welcome to the CFA Blog. “Rhys Davies Logistics, a major specialist distribution service to the carpet industry, has called in the administrators, blaming the pandemic for an “unsustainable loss or revenue.” The company has a fleet of 170 vehicles, many of which are specially design to handle carpet distribution for a number of UK flooring suppliers.
